Traders Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT: We will send you a Paypal invoice with the details to pay, this is our confirmation of your provisional pitch booking. Your response is needed urgently and payment immediately to confirm it is secured.  Your pitch is not fully confirmed until payment is received. If you delay in paying or don’t respond for any reason there is a risk it may be filled by someone faster!

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE (PLI): All traders must bring their PLI certificate with them on the day as well as supplying proof of it in advance by email. Any traders selling anything edible must also supply proof in advance of Hygiene certification.

PRODUCT LINES: Once you have shown us your stock-line, you cannot assume to deviate and bring different products either as an alternative or in addition. We prefer hand made steampunk items rather than mass produced items.  We will monitor the quality and type of each trader prior to sending your invoice and asses whether your items would work for our market.

LOADING IN/OUT: The venue does not have parking, but cheap parking is avaliable near by in Queensgate shopping centre (less than 5 mins walk)



Loading shall commence at 7.30am on the 17th June and we ask you to drop your stock into the lobby and then move your car.  We shall have members of staff on hand to help move items as needed and there is lift access.
Saturday night stock can be left in place at the traders own risk (the building is secure)
Sunday pack down will begin at 4pm and we ask traders to keep trading up until then.  We ask you to pack up as fast as possible and bring stock down to the lobby.  Once again loading vehicles from there.

THE VENUE: Please have respect for the staff, other visitors, the building and its grounds at all times. Please do not eat or drink in the areas with exhibitions – The museum has provided use of the staff room for tea etc.

FUND RAISING: The event is purely non profit and we aim to raise funds for the museum. As such we will be holding a raffle to help us raise even more for this great venue. We would ask kindly if each trader could donate a respectful prize to the raffle and we will advertise your item before the event with links to your Facebook page.
If you could provide details and pictures before the event and then hand the item to us on the weekend.

ADVERTISING/NETWORKING: We ask all traders to actively promote and share the event.  This can be through Facebook, local press or just by spreading the word.  The more attend the more customers for all.

Once booked no refunds are offered – Transfers are possible with prior consent from us.
We reserve the right to cancel the event with no liability, this is highly unlikely but a full refund would be given.
